No, Managed EDI Services is not the same as a web based EDI service.  A web based EDI service can operate at automated intervals set by your provider that will allow you to simply print the data you’ve received or upload it into your Financial Software.  Managed EDI Services provides the delivery and management of EDI data to corporations who are interested in a fully outsourced organized arrangement, which includes custom integration, monitoring, advanced error checking and reporting. A web based EDI solution will not allow you the same flexibility and timeliness of getting to market and communicating with customers that is available with Managed EDI Services.
